The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast had very limited choices and not everything was fresh. The staff was fine, except for one person at the reception that was not helpful and gave me wrong information twice that made me lose an important trip and cost me more time and money on another trip.
The rooms are big for a hotel in Europe.
I did not like this hotel. I would never book it again. Its is a 4 star, more like a 3 star hotel. Many negative points: 1- The room is dark, hardly any lights and the walls are dark blue so I felt claustrophobic the entire time. 2- The breakfast is absolutely awful. No variety, not enough quantities. There was practically nothing on the buffet (only the coffee was good). I could not believe that they charged me extra for it. 3- The staff is not friendly and not welcoming. 4- I have ordered a cheese platter on two consecutive nights - it was different every single time! 5-The location is bad, you need 25 minutes by bus to get to the center. It is residential secluded area. 6-The walls are very thin, I could hear other guests talking in other rooms. 7-No extra service for a supposed 4 star hotel, I had to take my luggage to my room. No shower gel in the bathroom, very basic.
Fair price for Roma. Calm area.
You cannot always dnjoy hot water in the shower. No healthy and tasty protheins in your breakfast. Far away from the downtownn.
The price was very fair for the time we spent in Rome, and the location was 3 km from Termini station so it was good.
The staff was very kind and helpful not to mention the food in the dining area was amazing and rooms were absolutely gorgeous.
We were in town for a wedding that took place on the north of the city. We wanted to avoid the center, so we selected Hotel Borromini due to its location convenient to the reception.
The room was really dirty and we were extremely uncomfortable for our stay.
The staff was nice
One of he beds had all the signs of bed bugs. I switched rooms, was given the key to an occupied room, then a third room which had ants in bathroom and no hot water. The breakfast was cold. The entire hotel is run down except the lobby it is not what the pictures seem. Wondered why there were no pictures of the guest rooms...now I know why. We left before our prepaid stay was over. I had to stay the first night you couldn't pay me to stay another. Save your money.
Friendly and helpful staff
Not so children friendly, no play facilities for children.
The room is spacious and the price good. The electrical blinds can darken the room quite well, for a good sleep. When they work.
Wifi, although free, is absolutely useless, the worst I've ever seen since the modem-era (it was faster and more stable then). Breakfast is rather poor, the staff polite but slow, the hotel overall needs an update, most power outlets in the room are broken and so were the blinds, the radiator in the bathroom was on, despite the 30C temperature outside.
Not as much as I'd hoped
Borromini seems to have deteriorated o over the last 4 years. There is no warm welcome. .no'good morning' Or 'good evening' unless it is said to them. The'manager' I think, ignored everyone. If this hotel is not careful or will end up the same as the Borromini in Bologna. Empty. Im sorry but I dont think we will be coming back.
Very nice hotel but a bit far from center 5 min walk to bus and then bus for 25 min
Large rooms nicely furnished, very clean, beautiful bathroom, very good breakfast and service. It was a pleasure all the way. The neighberhood is charming, quiet and allows for good rest. Commute is easy and public transportation is minutes aways.
Location is great - near a park, it is a pleasant, quiet area of Rome. Public transport is minutes away and the service was excellent: from general manager to front desk and restaurant we have been treated really nicely.
Welcome upon arrival, cleaness and confort of the room, quite and elegant Staff is gentle, attentive and available to accommodate requests. A great stay!!
Staff is very kind: they really help us for common transports because this is awful to take buses or tramways to go to the city. Our room was comfortable and very clean.
